Got some things done today! :)
I made a felted book for my needles and pins, a 'get well' card ( I need someone to get sick now!) and 3 heart-bookmarks! working on a crochet summer scarf and a a crochet baby blanket for my friend who is having a baby in Sept.. It feels sooooo good to get some of my projects done! Here are some pictures.
The pink one I stiffened..not sure if I should do the others.

My needle book! 5 pages full of needles and pins...tested out a couple embroidery stitches. I like it!

Beyong Endings...
Though I need to weep your loss,
You dwell in that safe place of my heart
Where no storm or night or pain can reach you.
Your love was like the dawn
Brightening over my life,
awakening beneath the dark
a further adventure of color.
The sound of you voice found for me
a new music that brighten everything.
Whatever you enfolded in your gaze
quickened in the joy of its being;
You place smiles like flowers
On the altar of my heart.
Your mind always sparkled
With wonder at things.
We look toward each other no longer
From the old distance of our names;
Now you dwell inside the rhythm of breath,
As close to me as I am to myself.
Though I can not see you with outward eyes,
I feel you smiling back at me from within
Let me not look for you only in memory.
Where I'd grow lonely without you.
You would want me to find you in presence,
Beside me when beauty brightens,
When kindness glows.
And music echoes eternal tones.
May you continue to inspire me
To enter each day with a generous heart.
To serve the call of courage and love
Until I see your beautiful face again
In that land where there is no more separation,
Where all tears will be wiped from my mind
and where I will never lose you again.
